I would just like to say here that I do not want to be a babysitter and tour guide at Dragoncon. That is all.
Anyway. Other than that, I’m SO looking forward to Dragoncon. FINALLY a convention where all 3 or us – me, ash and cath – are together. So, so excited. God, Cath is going to LOVE dragoncon. I already know me and Ash love Dragoncon š I don’t planning sleeping that whole weekend!!
Random list of costumes, because I LOVE to make lists. Yay for lists. I really don’t expect anyone to read this, I am just really frigging bored at the moment and I have nothing better to do, apparently.
A-kon –
Yuffie (FF7) – all the major parts are done. Still some accessory stuff to do, and the shoulder armour and arm guard.
Ruby Heart (Marvel vs Capcom) – GOD I can’t wait to finish this costume, I’m so excited about it! I’m going to run around screaming “ARR ME MATEYS!” Anyway… um, I’ve started on the coat but that’s about it. Gonna work on it some more Sunday.
Sana (Kodocha) – this is mostly piece mealed. So it’s just about done, except I’m going to make a little babbit. Easy costume. I plan on wearing this to the dance.
Nanami (Utena) – Shoot me, I’m not really excited about this costume anymore. But I’ve already started on it, and darned if I’m not going to do it. I’ll probably end up wearing it sunday or something. Or who knows, I may end up loving it and wearing it a bunch. There’s also another I want to do for Akon, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pull if off. It involved a whole lot of armour – if this different technique I’m using for Yuffie’s armour comes out all right, I’m going to start on it… but it may not happen for a while.

AX-
Asuka plugsuit (Eva): definitely because I already bought the red… thing. you know that thing.
Morrigan (darkstalkers): definitely because I’m registered in the masq as Morrigan. I’m kinda getting uninterested in it… I’m hoping I’ll pick up interest again after Akon, and once Ash starts working on BBHood/Bulleta.
SeraMyu Jupiter – this is SUCH a maybe. I want to reuse my green boots š I don’t know if I’ll have time to do this in between Akon and AX or not.
Gryffindor Quidditch uniform – I may not get this finished in time – I may push it back and just do it for HP5 release/dragoncon.

Amidala’s Blue Senate Dress (SW Ep II): my big one for dragoncon. Am prepared to go all out. watch out wallet.
Susan (Discworld): Almost finished. Am excited about it, mostly because of my props.
Teela (old school He-Man) – been working on it. Am done with the wig and boots – need to make armbands and stuff for the top of the leotard.
Arwen (Blood Red Dress) – it’s pretty. mom wants me to do. am doing it. can reuse a pattern. okey dokey.
Husk (Gen X) – another red thing. you know that thing. making cath or ash one do jubilee.
Britan’s issue 7 outfit – because I CAN.
Gryffindor Quidditch if I don’t have it done in time for AX (even if I do I’ll rewear it).
rewearing: arwen, eowyn, amalthea, pastel amidala, shadowcat, ruby heart, asuka pluguit… I can tell you right now I won’t wear them all, I’ll get there and be having so much fun I’ll only change twice a day if that. But I’m a dork who takes like, 20 shirts on a 2 day trip, because I never know what I’ll want to wear. It’s times like this I’m happy I ship everything.
MTAC: Apparently it’s not going to be until next year, but still. I’m still planning on doing Edea for it. That’s about it right now. GOD I’ve been wanting to do Edea for FOREVER!
I’m making a Link costume for my cousin Kevin. I may do Zelda to go with it, I may not… depends. Mom wants me to enter the dawn contest at dragoncon. she crazy. Got enough stuff I want to do. I’m also going to make a Cloud contest for Kevin to wear to MTAC. I’m not making him a buster sword though!
